Warning: Fraudulent letters/emails

Warning regarding misleading communications

We regularly receive questions from exhibitors following letters or emails asking them to verify, complete or confirm their company details. These communications often come from organisations such as International Fairs Directory, Fair Guide, Expo Guide, Fair Expo, Construct Data, Event-Fair or other similar names.
⚠️ Important to know:
These organisations are misusing the name of our trade fair. DEMO DAYS / MATEXPO has no collaboration with these parties and does not provide them with any data concerning exhibitors or visitors.

After signing these forms, companies often find themselves contractually bound for several years, with an annual payment obligation. We cannot prevent anyone from accepting these terms and conditions, but we would like to draw your attention to the fact that this may represent a real financial risk.

Do not confuse these invitations with the official exhibition catalogue or communications from DEMO DAYS / MATEXPO. You will only receive information directly from our organisation, always in our usual house style and format. If in doubt, always check the sender, which is often found at the bottom of the letter or email.

Finally, we would like to emphasise that we never sell or share visitor data with third parties. Any company that offers visitor data from a trade fair via email is acting fraudulently and in violation of GDPR legislation.
